MYLAPS Event Timing
MYLAPS has its own event timing division, offering timekeeping and additional services to sports events in the Netherlands, Belgium and some international races across Europe, Middle-East and Africa.
From the world-class events to local races
MYLAPS Event Timing (MET) was founded in 1993 in Nijmegen. As an addition to the branch in Nijmegen, we also opened a timing division in Haarlem in 2014. MYLAPS Event Timing is part of MYLAPS Sports Timing, a Dutch company that develops timekeeping systems and is the world market leader for both active and motorised sports. Thousands of sporting events and millions of athletes around the world use MYLAPS systems, ranging from the Olympic Games and world-famous marathons to the local running race just around the corner.
The MET team consists of 7 permanent employees and 35 enthusiastic freelance timers, who were born ready to turn your competition into a top racing event. Our team of dedicated timers is the the largest official timekeeper company in the Netherlands.
MYLAPS Event Timing does the time registration for more than 400 sporting events per year in all sporting disciplines, for races such as the The IRONMAN, TCS Amsterdam Marathon, NN Rotterdam Marathon or The World Triathlon Championship, with events across Europe and the Middle East.
Timekeeping
Because every sport is different, MYLAPS offers a specialized system for every discipline. Large running events require a system that can handle many participants at the same time – see BibTag solutions.
