The Quad Cities Marathon
The Quad Cities Marathon, which will be held September 24, 2017 in Moline, Illinois will use the MYLAPS EventApp for the first time. 2017 marks the 20th year for the race that covers 5 races, 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 island, all along the mighty Mississippi River.
The Race Director about the EventApp
We asked Mr. Joe Moreno, Founder and Race Director about his choice to use the EventApp.
Joe Moreno: “Our main goal with an event app is to connect and interact more with the race participants, their families, and enhance the experience with the ease of ‘easy to get info’. Another big reason is the athlete tracking ability, this day and age it’s imperative a quality race has that availability. We are very aware of all the event app opportunities in the industry, but working so well with the guys at End Result Company for so many years and their MYLAPS abilities made our choice too easy to go with End Result/MYLAPS for our event app. My friends and colleagues directing other marathons all highly recommended MYLAPS, little did they know that’s where I was going anyway- good friends, good advice, good product and service with MYLAPS!”
