Over the past 2,5 weeks around 100 runners from all different MYLAPS regions joined the virtual race over 5 or 10 KM. All athletes ran on their own, measured their activity with a treadmill, GPS watch or smartphone and submitted their results through the MYLAPS Virtual Run app. We had over 200 results submissions where people tried to improve their time several times throughout the challenge.
5K winners
Andrey Kulikov from ProRun (Uzbekistan) grab victory in the 5 KM race, with an astonishing time of 16:26. In the ladies competition it was our own Raquel de la Parra (MYLAPS Americas) ending first. The first MYLAPS partner in the Ladies 5K was Pija Zalokar from Timing Ljubljana (Slovenia).
10K winners
The 10K gold medal went to Americas Managing Director Mike Schmitz, with Craig Smith from Timing Solutions Ltd (UK) grabbing silver. Daphne Kirkwood from iDaph Events (USA) ended first in the ladies race.
