Running
Timing a running event, whether it's a 5K, 10K, (half) marathon, or a major, is a challenging task. Chip timing for running races helps you with gathering accurate race results for all participants. Say goodbye to manual hassle and enjoy the race!
Timing Setup
Running chip timing systems combine chips (tags) worn by athletes and detection mats along the course, for example at the start or finish line. The MYLAPS BibTag System has the highest read-rates in the industry. As the bibs are available in a disposable and a reusable version, it requires minimal handling and logistics. The tags are easy to use for participants: they simply wear their bib numbers like they are used to.
BibTag Decoder
The decoder is attached to the mats and decodes the BibTag signals into the athletes IDs and their measured times. Portable decoders have an integrated battery and can measure up to 50 BibTag passings per second.
The system is especially designed for mass events and can handle a high density of athletes.
Mats
Detection mats are placed at the start, finish and intermediate timing locations. The mats serve as the system’s antennas and detect the signals sent out by the BibTags. We offer modular mats that allow you to create timing locations between 1 and 8 meters wide per system.
Timing & Scoring Software
Timing a race and creating reliable results is a challenging task. We make sure your event will run smoothly with our Timing & Scoring software. Timing & Scoring is the improved successor of ToolKit and offers a complete and easy to use software package to set-up and time a race and then to create and publish reliable results.
The software is specifically designed for running and triathlon events and allows you to have multiple starts, splits, races and courses in a single event and offers extensive diagnostics. It is easy to use, and allows professional timers as well as weekend warriors to set-up and time a race and to create and publish reliable results in just a few clicks.
Bib with Tag
The BibTag system comes with different tags. These tags are designed for example for different weather conditions or types of sports. Pick the tag that suits your needs best and your timing system is ready for your next event.
EasyMat
The EasyMat is an innovation that helps set up your timelines faster than you could ever imagine. The rollable formula enables you to deploy the timing mat with one movement. The cabling is integrated within the mat, so there’s no more manual cable handling needed. The short setup time (within 1 minute) means minimal road closure time before and after the race.
The mat is compatible with both the MYLAPS BibTag and ProChip systems, which makes it a convenient solution for multiple sports and their unique timing needs. The flat design guarantees safe passing for all sports.
